12 Steps Report
Setting SMART (S.M.A.R.T.) goals: or is there a smarter way to achieve your goals?
You have likely heard of the SMART (or S.M.A.R.T.) system of goal setting, which is based on goals being Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely. While this is a very useful way of looking at goals, I believe it misses out on MANY other key factors that you will want to consider if you wish to achieve huge goals.
In this brief report, I outline the 12 steps that you will want to take to become a successful goal setter, in EVERY area of your life. This step by step process is illustrated each step of the way by my own HUGE goal of how I went from not being able to walk to the end of my driveway to climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro.
If you pay special attention to these steps, and following closely the suggestions made here, your chances of achieving your goal will soar – way beyond what you would achieve if you only set SMART (S.M.A.R.T.) goals.
